Stanislav Zhekov is the sole owner and managing director of “Stan Consulting BG” Ltd – an accounting and consultancy company. An economist by education, in 2013 he graduated with honors from the University of Economics – Varna, majoring in “Accounting and Financial Control” (Master’s degree). He is currently a PhD candidate, preparing a dissertation in the field of direct personal income taxation. The topic of his research is an econometric study of the efficiency and social impact of the proportional (flat) income tax system in Bulgaria.
He is the author of scientific publications in the field of financial and economic control and has presented papers at scientific conferences, including:

His professional experience exceeds 10 years in the areas of accounting, taxation, financial planning, and optimization. He has worked as a senior tax consultant and as a manager of an accounting team, serving more than 60 foreign and domestic clients – both legal entities and individuals. This expertise ensures comprehensive and precise services tailored to the specific needs of each client.
Since January 1, 2025, pursuant to Article 401, paragraph 1 of the Judiciary Act, he has been listed as an expert witness in forensic accounting for the jurisdiction of the Sofia City Court (State Gazette, issue 8 of January 28, 2025).
